Mary Helen Tibbs (audio journals Tales of Olivia Norton and Tales from the P&H – to be released June 2005 and the forthcoming book Project 366: A Photo Journal of Memphis 2004) has been named editor of Memphis magazine.

Elea Carey (www.SV-2.com writer) has had her poem, “Last Night Between Four and Six” accepted for publication in the Arkansas Literary Forum. The issue goes online in October.

Ed Tankersley (www.SV-2.com writer) has had a poem accepted by Krax, published in Leeds, England

Dennis Phillippi (audio CD’s Tales from the Arcade Restaurant and The SIXTIES, and author of the first SV2 book, A Quarter Triangle), hosts Rock 103’s afternoon drive time program from 4 pm to 7 pm with Rick Chetter. Phillippi is currently putting the finishing touches on his second novel.

Corey Mesler (SV2’s audio journals Velvet Sweat, Jerome Kearney, Arcade, Christmas Stories, The Sixties, and soon-to-be-released Tales from the P&H, and a contributor to our Flash Fiction) has a story included in storySouth’s 2004 anthology. His second novel is scheduled for release sometime this coming fall.

Joy Tremewan (SV2’s Arcadia: Tales from the Arcade Restaurant and a frequent contributor to our Flash Fiction) has completed her first novel and is now shopping it to agents, publishers and the like. She tells us it has everything a good Southern novel should have – crazy families and murder.
